Two industrial buildings at 1868-1872 E. Broadway Rd. in Tempe, totalling 125,292 SF, have been sold for $3.6 million. The buyer was Hypertec Capital, LLC of Quebec, Canada. Hypertec is one of the leading providers of information technology products and services and has more than 3,000 customers in over 60 countries. Lee & Associates Arizona principals Allen Lowe and Rick Lee along with Bruce Heathcote of Lee & Associates Irvine negotiated the sale on behalf of the seller, Dunn-Edwards. Evan Koplan and Mike Parker of CBRE represented Hypertec Capital.
The buildings were previously occupied by the Dunn-Edwards paint company. The smaller of the two, at 19,950 SF, is a showroom/retail building with offi ce and warehouse space while the larger building at 105,342 SF is a factory/warehouse confi guration.
The buildings sit on 6.4 acres and feature heavy power and rail service. The location is convenient to the Loop 101 and 202 freeways and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
