ACG-Arizona is celebrating its 10th Anniversary as a leader in the Valley business community by bringing in one of America’s most renowned military leaders at a time of increasing instability in the world.

He’s Admiral Eric T. Olson (RET.), former commander of the U.S. Special Operations Command responsible for having built and trained Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps special forces during a period of unprecedented activity from 2007 – 2011.  A career-long Navy SEAL and the first to achieve three-star and four-star rank, Admiral Olson was highly-decorated for valor in combat and held multiple leadership roles throughout his career in some of our Nation’s most clandestine military organizations.

Olson will be the keynote speaker at the Association for Corporate Growth-Arizona Chapter’s “A Celebration of Leadership” event on September 15. Olson’s keynote speech will include a discussion of building, training, and leading highly effective teams, as well as current national security concerns and geopolitical challenges.

“A Celebration of Leadership” will take place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa.

The event will also mark the 10th Anniversary of ACG-Arizona, and promises to be an exciting evening that brings together a broad spectrum of the Valley business community.

“We are honored to have Admiral Olson speak at this signature event,” said Christine Nowaczyk, Senior Vice President for Bank of Arizona and Past President of ACG-Arizona. “Admiral Olson has had an extraordinary impact on our national security and is one of the most exemplary leaders of our lifetime. His insight into what it takes to truly exercise bold leadership and build high-performing teams should be extremely valuable for those who attend the event. It promises to be a great evening with a program that any business leader will enjoy.”

The event is already receiving support from Bank of Arizona, BDO, CKS Advisors, CliftonLarsonAllen and McGladrey, among other significant local and national companies.

Tickets for the event are $135 for ACG-Arizona members and $155 for non members if purchased by September 1. Tickets may be purchased by visiting www.acg.org/arizona or calling 602-448-3981.
