Two of the Valley’s foremost organizations serving women—Fresh Start Women’s Foundation and ReAwaken—are joining forces in a collaborative effort to impact more women, from all levels, as they pursue their personal and professional goals and growth.

“We are thrilled to partner with ReAwaken,” said Susan Berman, CEO of Fresh Start Women’s Foundation. “Their vision to provide workshops and inspirational retreats for women to reconnect with themselves really complements the programs and services offered at here at our Center.”

For more than 20 years, Fresh Start Women’s Foundation has been dedicated to supporting women who want to thrive, and empowers them to transform their lives through education and engagement by focusing on three core values: economic self-sufficiency, personal development and education.

ReAwaken, an empowerment nonprofit, provides educational workshops—like September’s “Soaring and Succeeding” Empowerment Retreat in Prescott—for women who wish to increase their confidence and self-esteem personally and professionally. Through life and career exploration, clients are able to overcome obstacles keeping them from achieving the success they wish to fulfill.

In July of this year, Ransom joined Fresh Start as their director of development. ReAwaken programs will be managed by Fresh Start staff with guidance from Ransom.

“Collaborating with Fresh Start seemed liked the natural next step in ReAwaken’s evolution,” said Jarrett Ransom, former founder and president of ReAwaken. “I couldn’t be more excited to be able to merge resources and talent to provide leadership and confidence in more women and to help them achieve their greatest heights.”
