Gabriel’s Angels, the only organization in Arizona that delivers healing pet therapy to abused, neglected and at-risk children, announced that their fifth annual “Salud! 2015 Signature Wine Dinner” event, held on Friday, October 2, at the Montelucia Resort & Spa generated the most revenue in the event’s history, raising over $275,000.

Salud! 2015 attracted strong community support with Presenting Sponsor Porsche North Scottsdale, and lead supporting sponsors, Cullum Homes and DLA Piper LLC.  With over 300 guests in attendance, the evening featured a wine reception, food from Michael Cairns, executive chef at the Montelucia Resort & Spa, live musical entertainment from Scott Keo and Static, a Live Auction led by renown auctioneer Letitia Frye, and many Gabriel’s Angels Pet Therapy Teams. The program was emceed by Kyle Unfug, of the JohnJay and Rich Morning Show on 104.7 KISSFM. Therapy Teams greeted attendees. Individuals at the event participated in a unique raffle known as “Lucky Leashes” by purchasing a red leash, with a variety of prizes available to win, as well as placed their bids on the three dozen silent auction items. Proceeds from Salud! helps Gabriel’s Angels to continue their work with at-risk children in Arizona.

Co-Chairs for Salud! 2015 were Paradise Valley resident, Kathy Pidgeon and Scottsdale resident, Brad Gould.  Kathy and Brad have been key contributors in the nonprofit community, driving success for a number of Valley nonprofits.  Kathy is a nationally recognized adoption attorney whose passion is achieving permanency for foster children in Arizona.  She has served as the Executive Director, Board Chairman and Board Member of Phoenix Suns Charities and currently serves as President of the  Maricopa County National Adoption Day Foundation. She is Co-Chair of the national adoption day event in the Valley and has helped to make it the number one celebration in the United States.   Brad is the Vice President of Sales with Clear Channel Oudoor, and has been in the media community since 1992.  He is a Past Board President for Phoenix Suns Charities, and Co-Chair for the annual Suns Gala. Brad is also the Co-Founder and current President of the Dave Trout Foundation, benefitting Arizona at-risk youth.  Both are extremely passionate about helping at-risk children and are enthusiastic pet parents.
