GetFileAttachment-9Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center, a leading provider of advanced vision care and surgery, has appointed a new optometrist, Dr. Alison Kitzerow, for its metro Phoenix-area clinic locations.

Alison Kitzerow, OD will provide comprehensive eye examinations, including primary medical eye care and diagnosis of cataracts, ocular surface disease, diseases of the retina and other age related eye diseases. She will work in tandem with the practice’s cornea, cataract and retina surgeons on preoperative and postoperative care.

An experienced optometrist, Dr. Kitzerow joins Barnet Dulaney Perkins from DePoe Eye Center at Georgia Tech University in Atlanta. After receiving her doctorate of optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry, she completed advanced training in ocular disease and primary care at Clayton Eye Center in Morrow, Ga.

Dr. Kitzerow is currently an active member of the Georgia Optometric Association. In addition, she has spent time volunteering for Veterans Stand Down Eye Screening Services, Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital and Special Olympics.
