Sara Dhanani, MD, a movement disorders neurologist, has joined Banner Sun Health Research Institute. Dr. Dhanani works with patients with Parkinson’s, tremors and other movement conditions.
Most recently, Dhanani served a movement disorders fellowship at Muhammad Ali Parkinson’s Center at Barrow Neurological Clinic in Phoenix. She earned her medical degree from Dow Medical College in Pakistan in 2004. Dhanani served her residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and is certified by the Arizona Medical Board.
Dhanani is the author of numerous peer papers and publications and serves on the American Academy of Neurology and the Movement Disorders Society. Fluent in Urdu and Hindi, Dhanani enjoys hiking, running, reading and traveling.
