Visitors to The CORE Institute will witness a sea of R.E.D.

On Friday, July 10, visitors to any of The CORE Institute’s facilities or clinics will witness a sea of red—red shirts that is.  More than 287 employees have purchased R.E.D. shirts to wear on Friday, and other select Fridays, instead of their normal work clothes.  R.E.D. stands for Remember EveryoneDeployed.

The R.E.D. Shirt Friday program is organized by the MORE Foundation (Musculoskeletal Orthopedic Research and Education), a non-profit organization that envisions a world full of active people.  Employees of The CORE Institute were given the opportunity to purchase a special red shirt to wear for $20 with the money going towards supporting the MORE’s Charitable Assistance program to military veterans and their families.  Currently there are five R.E.D. Shirt Fridays scheduled before the end of the year.

“We were thankful and overwhelmed to see so many employees of The CORE Institute chose to participate in this charitable effort to raise both funds and awareness to benefit the MORE Foundation and its mission to empower individuals to keep life in motion through innovative research, community education and charitable assistance,” said Patricia Lewis Finnell, Board Chairwoman of the MORE Foundation.  “We’ve already sold more than 287 shirts with more staff expected to purchase and participate in the coming days and weeks.”
