LA Fitness announced that it has acquired all 11 of the 24 Hour Fitness clubs in Arizona.  LA Fitness has been part of Arizona since 1993, and in an industry often associated with fad and fashion, it has steadily increased its presence by focusing on the one lifelong benefit valued by everyone: good health. All membership agreements acquired, and the related personal training services and other amenities agreements will be honored.

“Convenience is a major component of staying with a fitness regimen,” said Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Mike Ulibarri. “We’re happy that the addition of these 11 locations will give all of our members, old and new, more options.  This acquisition comes just a few weeks after remodeling 17 of our pre-existing locations here in the Phoenix market. Needless to say, we are here to stay. Now with 40 locations in Arizona, you’ll most likely find an LA Fitness near where you live, work and shop.”

For those former 24 Hour Fitness members with single club access, nothing will change. They will continue to go to the same gym they have enjoyed. Both LA Fitness and former 24 Hour Fitness members who have either “all club” or “multiple club” access, will now have 40 clubs in the Valley to choose from.

LA Fitness strives to promote the health and wellness of each and every community it serves.  In addition to a wide range of fitness classes, members enjoy the use of indoor cycling studios, aerobics rooms, dry saunas, state-of-the-art equipment, swimming pools, spas, and court sports.

LA Fitness has been meeting with the former 24 Hours Fitness employees and is currently working to bring on all who have expressed interest in a position with LA Fitness.
