Fennemore Craig, a law firm, appointed  Robert Kramer, an attorney in the firm’s Phoenix office, as chief talent officer.

In this position, he will oversee attorney recruitment, professional development and retention. In the role of chief talent officer, Kramer will guide attorney recruitment, onboarding and training, as well as attorney mentorship, leadership and development. He will also help lead diversity initiatives throughout the firm’s six offices.

Kramer originally joined the firm as an associate, later becoming a shareholder in Fennemore Craig’s environmental and natural resources practice. He steps into this role as a full – time commitment, also chairing the firm’s attorney hiring committee.

He is a member of the executive council for the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Section of the State Bar of Arizona, is a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association, and is an “AV” Preeminent Peer Review Rated (the highest ranking available) attorney by Martindale-Hubbell.

He formerly served as corporate environmental counsel for a Fortune 500 company and earned his J.D. magna cum laude and, Order of the Coif, from Arizona State University, where he was editor of the Arizona State Law Journal. He earned his B.A. from the University of California, San Diego.
