Derek J. Pfaff joined law firm Fennemore Craig’s Phoenix office to practice real estate at the firm. Pfaff worked with the Texas based law firm Andrews Kurth.

“We are excited to welcome Derek to the firm,” said Steve Good, managing partner of Fennemore Craig. “He is an experienced real estate practitioner who will allow us to serve clients in our markets.”

Pfaff focuses his practice on a broad range of real estate matters, including the acquisition, development and disposition of improved and unimproved commercial property, office building and shopping center development, representation of landlords and tenants in commercial leasing, condominium projects, solar project development, and real estate finance, including conventional lending, loan work-outs and mezzanine loan transactions.

He also has extensive experience in projects involving state and local governmental agencies, public transit facilities, utilities and eminent domain.  Pfaff earned his J.D. from the University of Arizona, Rogers College of Law and his bachelor’s from the University of Arizona.
