This past Wednesday, Phoenix law firm Jaburg Wilk celebrated their thirtieth anniversary by hosting a charity carnival and silent auction to raise money for three local charities. Thousands of dollars were raised and split amongst Ryan House, Devin’s Gift and St. Joseph the Worker. In-kind donation items were also collected at the event.

Aioli Burger food truck was present and donated a portion of their proceeds to the charities. The event had so many supporters the food truck sold out of their food. The silent auction consisted of prizes donated by local businesses and community members.

“The support and generosity we received from local businesses and the community was truly inspiring”, said Jaburg Wilk Marketing Coordinator Lindsay Preach. “We were able to assemble over 40 silent auction baskets, all consisting of donated items. I could not be more proud to be a member of this community.”

St. Joseph the Worker’s revamped mobile unit was onsite for touring and those present were able to put together more than 80 kits for Devin’s gift which will go to local children’s hospitals.

Ryan House provides respite and palliative care to children with life-threatening conditions and, as needed, end-of-life care. Devin’s Gift provides shower kits to Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Cardon’s Children’s Hospital. St. Joseph the Worker helps individuals return to the workforce and become self-sufficient, productive members of society.
