The firm represents diverse domestic and international clients across all industries, protecting and managing IP portfolios for organizations ranging in size from individual inventors to start-ups to Fortune 500 corporations, including some of the world’s most recognizable brands.

The combination doubles the firm’s number of dedicated IP attorneys to approximately 80 including litigation expertise, enhancing its ability to successfully guide clients through the complex issues of IP strategy and management.

“This combination creates a best in class IP practice including the full range of intellectual property law,” said Kenneth Van Winkle Jr.,  managing partner. “Our depth of talent means that clients can be assured that all of their needs will be met successfully and cost-effectively, with innovative attorneys who protect their clients’ valuable assets and help open new avenues for growth and revenue.”

Both legacy firms share a deep commitment to client service, and this is a seamless fit strategically, culturally and professionally,” said Greg Lampert, legacy CPH Managing Partner.

“The synergies created by this combination mean that we have IP expertise in virtually any technical area and talented attorneys across multiple locations that are very complementary to each other,” said Emily Bayton, IP Practice Co-Chair. “It builds on existing strengths and bolsters our ability to serve clients across many different practice areas.”
