With construction underway, California-based The New Home Company (NEW HOME, NYSE: NWHM) is opening an on-site sales gallery for its first housing development in Arizona.
New Home is building luxury homes at the Mountain Shadows Resort in Paradise Valley. The resort is expected to open in early 2017.
Mountain Shadows is the newest community of resort residences to be built in Paradise Valley, the affluent town located between Phoenix and Scottsdale that is surrounded by the iconic Camelback and Mummy Mountains.
The Company, which was recently named the second-fastest growing public homebuilder in the United States and the most active luxury homebuilder in Orange County, Calif., announced the opening of its Arizona division in early 2016.
Mountain Shadows consists of 14 luxury detached homes (The Residences) and 52 single-story flats (The Villas), ranging from approximately 2,500 to 4,000 square feet, with all homeowners having full access to resort amenities including golf, health and wellness facilities, hiking trails and dining. The homes reflect modern and mid-century design interpretations with streamlined styling, dramatic levered roof lines, natural and urban textures, open floor plans and outdoor living spaces that take advantage of the surrounding mountain and desert views.
Mountain Shadows Resort is expected to re-open in early 2017 and will be anchored by a signature pool and hotel with 180 rooms, meeting and event spaces and a unique 18-hole, Executive Par-3 Golf Course with scenic views and regulation-sized greens. The resort will include a three-story luxury wing with 42 condominiums and lofts available for purchase.
