Two Dibble Engineering employees recently were named to a college advisory board and a seat on the Fiesta Bowl Committee.

Rebecca Timmer, corporate relations for Dibble, accepted the nomination to the Wilkes University Mesa Advisory Board for 2013-14. Wilkes University established this board of advisors to better serve the City of Mesa in achieving its educational goals. The Advisory Board is made up of community, education and business leaders.

The Wilkes University Mesa Advisory Board will provide recommendations on a variety of topics including opportunities for enrollment growth, potential partnerships, community service and student internship opportunities, as well as insights into the local region and culture.

Founded in 1933 in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., Wilkes University is a private, higher education institution dedicated to academic and intellectual excellence through mentoring. In January 2013, Wilkes began offering courses in Mesa towards a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Creative Writing.

Starting this fall, additional master’s degree programs will be offered in Engineering Management, Mechanical Engineering, English as a second language (ESL), and Classroom Technology.

Dibble’s Kelly Lenhart was selected as one of the 14 Fiesta Bowl Committee members for 2013-2014 season.

Lenhart is a Transportation Project Engineer with Dibble and has more than 10 years of design experience in civil engineering within Arizona. She is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and dedicates herself to giving back to the community through a variety of volunteer and fundraising events.

The Fiesta Bowl Committee is made up of business and community leaders who lead Fiesta Bowl’s fundraising activities and annual events. The committee members work together with the board of directors, sponsors, staff and volunteers to create experiences that promote Arizona’s economic development and give back to the community.
