Fry’s Purchases Prime Existing Scottsdale Gas Station, SVN Brokers Deal


Fry’s Food and Drug Stores purchased an existing Shell gas station and convenience store at the SWC of Thomas and Hayden roads in Scottsdale.

The property is in a prime retail trade area and is within a neighborhood shopping center anchored by Fresh & Easy and a 99 Cent Only Store.

The seller, an experienced gas station and convenience store operator, was represented by Ryan Mojahed, Trent McCullough and Neil Sherman of Sperry Van Ness in Phoenix. The buyer was represented by Jeff Pavone and Joe Balbona with Commercial Plus in Scottsdale.

“There is no such thing as an easy deal, and this was no exception,” Mojahed said. “Both the buyer’s and seller’s brokers collaborated well together in order to bring it across the finish line and meet the needs of their clients.”

The seller still owns and operates other stations within Arizona.
