RJM Construction, a Minneapolis-based general contractor with offices in Phoenix and Denver, has hired healthcare construction specialist Sean Conry as project executive.

In his new role, Conry will oversee pre-construction, project management, estimating, schedule management and the development of team relationships; he will specialize in complex construction projects, especially those requiring skilled coordination in occupied medical environments.

Conry has worked in construction management for 16 years, with a focus on healthcare projects. Most recently, he served as director of healthcare for a local general contractor.

He has managed projects such as Yavapai Regional Medical Center Emergency Department expansion in Prescott Valley; Mayo Clinic Optical in Scottsdale; Mountain Park Health Center Community Clinic in Phoenix; Scottsdale Healthcare ICU remodel in Scottsdale; and Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center Energy Conservation Measures projects in Phoenix.

Conry holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Northern Arizona University. He is a member of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) and holds a Healthcare Construction Certification from the organization.
