The Arizona Black Bar has announced that Gust Rosenfeld partner Nicholle Harris will serve as President-Elect for the 2016-2017 year.

The Arizona Black Bar (ABB), formerly known as the Hayzel B. Daniels Bar Association, was founded in 1971.  ABB has a statewide membership of attorneys, judges, paralegals, law students and community members who work tirelessly in the legal community and the community at large. The ABB’s mission is to enhance the professional lives of its members; to further the cause of justice in Arizona through active participation in the court system and other bar associations; recognize its special duty to the public; and enhance the public perception of African-American lawyers.

Harris’ practice is in the area of public law, providing general legal services to municipalities across the state. Her focus includes municipal law in matters relating to the operations of municipalities, including drafting ordinances, resolutions, easements, administrative procedures and policies. Harris represents clients in negotiating real property transactions, leases, contracts and intergovernmental agreements and has special expertise in procurement law, code enforcement, and public records law. She serves on the firm’s Diversity Committee.
