Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Phoenix, with the support of the McDonald’s Owner/Operators of Phoenix and Northern Arizona, will assist 90 Arizona high school students attend college this fall with scholarships totaling $225,000.
Scholarships awarded range from $1,500 to $2,500. The students may attend any college or technical school of their choice. They are selected based on academic achievement, financial need and community involvement.
The RMHC scholarship recipients will be honored on June 3rd at the RMHC Phoenix Scholarship Breakfast at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Phoenix. The annual event raises more than $225,000 to help Arizona high school seniors attend college. This program is one of the largest scholarship programs available to Arizona high school seniors.
The RMHC Phoenix Scholarship Program is supported through the efforts of neighborhood McDonald’s owner/operators, local and national Ronald McDonald House Charities, McDonald’s Corporation and other community donors.
Since 1995, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Phoenix has generated more than $2.5 million in funding for the U.S. Scholarship program to benefit Arizona high school students. As a result, approximately 1,400 Arizona students have received scholarships to help make their dreams of attending college a reality.
