Children’s charity supporter, Scottsdale Active 20-30 Club raised more than $425,000 through its fundraising and events last year.

The money raised was divided between many local charities, including Boys Hope Girls Hope of Arizona, Care Fund, Playworks, Sharing Down Syndrome Arizona and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale.

“It’s exciting to be part of an organization that gives back fully and completely to our local kids,” said current President, Joe Conner.

The group recently announced its new board of directors.

The new Board Members include:

Joseph Conner, president—A mortgage and real estate professional with 14 years in the business, Conner is a licensed loan originator for the Arizona-based mortgage company, Homeowners Financial Group.

Isaac Kahn, vice president of membership— Active for nearly eight years, Kahn is also involved with the National Kidney Foundation of Arizona and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Arizona. Kahn also co-founded Palmyra Development Co. in 2013.

Ben McRae, vice president of events—An active member since 2013, McRae is the marketing manager for local real estate investment firm, McRae Group of Companies.

Kyle McMillian, treasurer—A lender with UMB Bank for ten years, McMillian has been a member of the club since 2014. He is also the Board Treasurer of Teen Lifeline.

John McCurry, secretary—An active member since 2015, McCurry serves as a senior project manager for Roofing Southwest.

Bill Grogan, international relations officer—Grogan currently works with distressed assets, acquisitions and developments throughout the country. Grogan has been an active member of the Scottsdale Active 20-30 Club since 2005.

Matt Wolach, foundation president—Wolach has been a member, President, NiteFlite chairman, Vice President of Membership, and club secretary all in nine years. Wolach is a Director at WebPT.

Patrick Hedges, foundation treasurer—Hedges is a partner at Constructors Bonding, Inc. and manages surety relationships for a wide range of commercial contractors in Arizona and throughout the West Coast. He has been member since 2009.

Scottsdale Active 20-30 Club’s signature event, NiteFlite, is a combination golf tournament and gala scheduled October 14 and 15. The Club’s second fundraiser, Brokers for Kids and Agents Benefitting Children, an Olympiad that challenges commercial and residential real estate agents in multiple competitions, will happen in the spring of 2017.
