LDV Winery is hosting two “Summer School” events that will help you learn to cook Italian and Mediterranean dishes through hands on tutorials.

Joanie Simon will be your guide as she shows you first-hand how to cooks delicious food. Both events are $55 and include one complimentary glass of LDV Winery Wine, with water and tea included.

Italian with a Twist:

On June 18, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. you’ll be able to enjoy a two hour class, and then some lunch.

The menu includes:

  • Appetizer – THE famed Simon Caesar Salad and homemade croutons
  • Entree – Summer Garden Ravioli with fresh pasta, peas and tomatoes
  • Dessert – Tiramisu Parfaits with coffee mousse

Mediterranean Cruising:

On July 16, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., sit down and relax for two hours to gain insights on mediterranean cooking, and lunch of course.

The menu includes:

  • Appetizer – Lemon Garlic Hummus with pita and seasonal veggies (yes, you’ll be making pita too)
  • Entree – Red Pepper Chicken over Orzo and Feta
  • Dessert – Baklava Tarts with Honey Yogurt

There are only 12 seats available for both classes, so register if you want a spot.
