Valley Toyota Dealers, a group of 10 Toyota dealers throughout the metro Phoenix area, donated more than $500,000 to local community organizations in 2015 – nearly doubling its 2014 community contribution.

In addition, the Valley TDA, along with support from Toyota Motor Sales, also reached the $1 million lifetime giving milestone with Phoenix Children’s Hospital this year.

Two of the Valley Toyota Dealership’s largest local donations were built around groups the Association feels strongly about and that make a significant impact in local communities.

Water Safety Day, a Phoenix Children’s Hospital event held each March in Phoenix, aims to educate the community and bring awareness to childhood drownings, while Barrios Bellos, a fall neighborhood cleanup program, focuses on improving South Phoenix neighborhoods with large Latino populations.

In addition to Phoenix Children’s Hospital’s Water Safety Day program and Barrios Bellos, the Association contributed money to Colleen’s Dream, Veteran’s First, Hospice of the Valley, Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, Homeward Bound, Phoenix Zoo, March of Dimes, Crossroads, Celebrity Fight Night, Gigi’s Playhouse, Fresh Start, 9/11 Healing Fields, the Arizona Youth Music Festival, Old Breed Marines and Arizona’s ALS Chapter.

Founded in 1989, Valley Toyota Dealers consists of all 10 Toyota dealers in the metropolitan Phoenix area, including AutoNation Toyota Tempe, Avondale, Bell Road, Big Two, Camelback, Earnhardt, Larry Miller, Power, Right, Riverview and Toyota of Surprise.
