Jade Yeban

Jade Nicole Yeban is an editorial intern and student at Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University. Jade was raised in Northern Georgia but recently moved to Arizona to pursue a journalism education. When she is not busy exploring the cultural and physical beauty of her new home, Jade is busy writing for Ballot Basics, ASU’s first political based newspaper she helped co-found, or anchoring as a featured host for Cronkite Cut, ASU’s first entertainment news program. Jade is a freshman at ASU but is pursuing a 4+1 master’s degree in journalism with an emphasis in broadcast and a political science minor with a Certificate in International Studies. Jade hopes to pursue a career as an international political correspondent on a major news network.
