In a move that positions some of the most well-respected senior executives in Arizona alongside a bright young professional, the Arizona Technology Council announced Monday a series of board appointments.
The Technology Council appointed Brad Jannenga, co-founder and former chairman, president & CTO of WebPT, David Woody, senior vice president, Technology Operations & Transformation, American Express and Chad T. Fogg, operations & Logistics manager for AZ, NV, NM & UT, Uber Technologies, to its board of directors.
The addition of these three directors was confirmed in a unanimous vote at the Council’s April 21 board of directors meeting. The current board includes 33 members, five of which are officers.
Fogg graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business in 2012 with a B.S. in Management + Entrepreneurship and a Certificate of International Business. At Uber Technologies, Fogg is responsible for business intelligence, fraud management and pricing analytics. Prior to Uber, he served as senior strategy analyst for TicketView and as a revenue management analyst for U.S. Airways.
By appointing Fogg to its board, the Council is fulfilling part of its contract with The Manifesto Project of Arizona, which is dedicated to making Arizona the “place-to-be” for young talent. Fogg will serve in a one-year non-voting role but will be actively engaged in advising fellow board members of the millennial point-of-view.

Well-known in the Arizona start-up community, Jannenga’s WebPT is the leading web-based EMR solution for the rehab therapy community. He was honored with Ernst & Young’s 2013 Entrepreneur of the Year award and the Phoenix Business Journal’s 2013 Tech Titan award. In 2012, Jannenga earned HealthData Management’s EHR Game Changer Award and made Phoenix Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 list.
While at the helm of WebPT, Jannenga led the company through several significant milestones, including back-to-back appearances on Inc. 500’s list of the fastest-growing companies in America and a partnership with Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm, Battery Ventures.
Committed to giving back to the community, he mentors local entrepreneurs, works with several nonprofit organizations, and serves on the boards of WebPT, IrisPR, StartupAZ Foundation, and the Warehouse District Council.
Passionate about the revitalization of the historic Warehouse District, Jannenga is a proponent of adaptive reuse and historic preservation. He’s dedicated to putting Phoenix on the technology innovation and startup map and is actively working to establish a collaborative entrepreneurship network and a vibrant downtown tech community. Jannenga is a proud dad, an aspiring triathlete, and a certified archery instructor.
At American Express, Woody has global responsibilities for infrastructure operations, technology operations and governance oversight for all technology transformation initiatives. He also leads the technology efforts to support the creation of the American Express Global Business Travel joint venture.
Previous to this position, Woody led the Data Center Program. In this role he was responsible for building their new world-class data center facilities to provide global hosting capabilities with increased agility and service quality.
Woody has an extensive background with American Express Technology that spans 25+ years. His previous responsibilities included Unit CIO for Risk, Information Management and Banking, where he was responsible for worldwide credit, risk, fraud, authorizations, customer marketing, information management and banking technology systems.
He has a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Arizona State University, where he also serves as the Technology Sponsor for the Campus Recruitment Program.
