Gallagher & Kennedy added Danielle M. Hazeltine as an associate to the firm’s environmental practice group.

Hazeltine’s extensive knowledge in air quality makes her acutely aware of the new and challenging environmental problems facing many companies today.

Her experience with local and national government agencies like the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has helped her develop a deep understanding of state and federal environmental regulations concerning environmental quality.

“Danielle is known for her extensive background in environmental issues,” said Dean Short, managing partner at Gallagher & Kennedy. “Her breadth of experience in helping to solve sophisticated environmental problems will be a great asset to our firm.”

Hazeltine has worked for more than a decade in natural resources and environmental issues in the private and public sectors. She graduated with a B.S. in Wildlife, Watershed and Renewable Natural Resources, Wildlife Science Option, from University of Arizona before receiving her J.D. with a Certificate in Environmental Law from the Center for Law, Science & Technology from Arizona State University, in 2005.

In 2013 and 2014, Danielle was awarded the Spotlight Award by the Air Quality Division of the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality where she worked as an Environmental Rules Specialist.

Gallagher & Kennedy’s environmental practice group represents trade associations and companies engaged in mining, utility, manufacturing, technology, real estate and financial services in multiple states.
