Quarles & Brady LLP announced that Steven A. Hirsch has joined the firm’s Phoenix office as a partner in its Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group.

Hirsch handled several jury trials, including contract and lease disputes, eminent domain, land use regulation, valuation of real estate, and other government takings of undeveloped and improved land, income-producing properties, utility property, and certificated areas and water rights.

He practices regularly before the Arizona Corporation Commission in rate-making proceedings and other administrative proceedings affecting utilities. Hirsch also brought actions against governmental agencies arising out of zoning, permitting, and similar land use disputes. He serves as President of the Wildlife for Tomorrow Foundation, the charitable arm of the Arizona Game and Fish Department.

Hirsch is currently Secretary/Treasurer of the State Bar of Arizona. He has been listed in Chambers USA, Best Lawyers of America , Southwest Super Lawyers  and Arizona Business Magazine. He has held various positions with the University of Arizona Law College Association, Maricopa County Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Arizona Bar Foundation.
