Brokers Alliance announced it has hired U.S. Army veteran Deuce Mangine as its human resources manager.

Mangine will be responsible for the Fountain Hills-based financial service company’s human resources, payroll and hiring efforts.

Before joining Brokers Alliance, Mangine served 20 years in the Army – more than a decade of which included HR experience. His previous roles have included military policeman, supervisor of the military police, traffic accident investigator, recruiter and human resource manager specializing in security, investigations and operations.

“With his 20 years of experience working with U.S. Army personnel and incredible motivational skills, he’ll be a great coach to help our employees succeed in the career path they’ve chosen at our company,” says Jessica Lopez, chief operating officer at Brokers Alliance.

Mangine was also an anti-terrorism program manager who developed and designed standard operational and procedural guidelines in defensive posturing of terrorist activity for an organization of more than 3,500 people. He has investigated more than 1,000 criminal cases.

The Arizona native received a highly regarded recognition from the military police, The Order of the Marechaussee Award, in 2015.

“I’m excited to join Brokers Alliance because of the premier culture as well as being part of the Top 100 companies in Arizona,” Mangine says.

Brokers Alliance has 62 employees and expects that number to nearly double over the next 18 months. Brokers Alliance CEO David Racich oversees six additional companies, including Outlook Advisors, WiredUp Installation and Emerson Art Gallery.
