Formerly known as Scottsdale Inn, the 4.5 acre property is currently undergoing a $12 million renovation and will debut as Hotel Adeline in fall 2017. The stylish new boutique hotel broke ground this month and is being developed by Los Angeles-based ESI Ventures and managed by New Orleans-based HRI Lodging, LLC. The property will be transformed into a contemporary urban retreat that will attract savvy leisure and business travelers, as well as locals, who crave a vibrant social experience.

“We saw an opportunity to bring a property with more of a downtown vibe to Old Town,” said Shaun Baker, general manager of Hotel Adeline. “In addition to being a stylish and conveniently-located destination for visitors, we envision Hotel Adeline becoming a new hangout for locals. We’re thrilled to introduce the new concept to Scottsdale.”

“As the first hotel property in our development portfolio, a great deal of research and thought went into selecting the right project,” said Brandon Wolsic, executive vice president of ESI Ventures. “Hotel Adeline’s prime location was attractive to us and our plans for redevelopment will make it a valuable addition to Scottsdale’s hospitality offerings.”

Hotel Adeline will offer 213 guestrooms, including five spacious 700-square-foot king suites, featuring sleek and uncomplicated design. Details will include modern wood furniture with a retro flair, handy built-in live edge work desks, walk-in rainfall showers, 50-inch LG Smart TVs, RFID keyless room entry and complimentary Wi-Fi access throughout the hotel.

The property’s interior design will be contemporary with a bohemian twist, with a neutral color palette and welcoming atmosphere. Accents throughout the hotel will include an eclectic mix of textures, comfortable furniture groupings of leather and wooden pieces atop geometric patterned rugs, sleek metallic fixtures and finishes and carefully-curated Arizona influenced artwork.

Unlike more traditional hotels, buzzing communal spaces such as the lobby, restaurant and lounge, lively pool and pool bar, outdoor courtyards and public areas will encourage guests to spend more time in social spaces than in their rooms. Hotel Adeline’s 3,000-square-foot zero edge pool and trendy pool bar will be the centerpiece of the property, surrounded by cabanas and courtyards with lawn games and hanging loungers. The multi-purpose elevated deck will be a perfect spot to relax or partake in energizing outdoor yoga classes. A state-of-the-art fitness center will offer guests the latest Precor cardio and strength training equipment.

Dining options will include a full-service Mediterranean-American restaurant and lounge, along with a fast-casual breakfast and lunch café with a late-night grab n’ go bar. Created in partnership with Scottsdale restaurateur Ryan Jocque, the creative force behind local favorite Chop Shop, the locally inspired menus will focus on fresh ingredients, made-to-order dishes, craft beers and creative cocktails.

An ideal destination for social events and corporate retreats, Hotel Adeline will feature a 1,800-square-foot ballroom with a center divider that comfortably seats up to 100 guests and a deluxe boardroom accommodating up to 12. The property’s poolside courtyard also will be available for hosting private events.

Hotel Adeline will be located at 5101 N. Scottsdale Road in Scottsdale, AZ. Steps away from all that Old Town Scottsdale has to offer in restaurants, nightlife, shopping, art galleries, museums and outdoor recreation, Hotel Adeline’s nearby attractions include Scottsdale Fashion Square, Scottsdale Waterfront, Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, spring training stadiums and Camelback Mountain.
