Multifamily developer and manager, Alliance Residential, is launching a month-long national recruiting campaign, aimed at attracting college students and recent graduates to a career in the apartment industry.

“There is so much opportunity in the multifamily realm and, specifically, at Alliance – from property management to investment/development to corporate support, we currently have 240 available positions nationwide, not to mention a robust summer internship program,” said Greta Schneider, Alliance’s vice president of talent. “This February, we want to spread the message not only about the available positions at our company, but also about the lifetime career potential for our next-gen workforce of current college students and recent graduates.”

Arizona Recruitment Stops:

  • Coffee + Career Talk Event: Feb. 10, University of Arizona (9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.)
  • Coffee + Career Talk Event: Feb. 11, Arizona State University (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
  • Regional On-Site Career Fair: Feb. 16, Phoenix, Spectra on 7th Apartments (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.)

  • Professional Association: Feb. 23, UofA Professional Women’s Business Association (5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.)

That’s where “multitunity” comes in — or, the company’s “entrepreneurial multifamily environment with tremendous career growth opportunities.”

Throughout the month of February, the Alliance Talent team will participate in 50 different recruiting events to spread the multitunity message, from in-person career fairs and “Coffee + Career Talk” events at a variety of universities and college campuses across the U.S., to regional job fairs at select apartment communities in California, Texas, Arizona and Georgia.

In addition, the Alliance recruiting team will be available on Twitter for virtual office hours every day throughout the month to answer questions and discuss career options.

“In 2016, we plan to hire more than 1,200 new associates — we are looking for candidates who want to be a part of a growing industry and expanding company, where entrepreneurial spirit, innovation and advancement are the cornerstones of associate culture,” Schneider said. “Internally, we expect to promote nearly 800 associates this year, which speaks to our commitment to offering career growth opportunities. We believe that commitment, along with the many unique programs and benefits we offer to our associates, is a big part of our ranking on multiple lists as a top company to work for (Top Companies to Work for in Arizona, Best Companies to Work For in Florida and Best Places to Work in Los Angeles). We can’t wait to share that message during these February events and beyond.”
