CBRE announced that Afton Trail has been named managing director of Institutional Services in the Phoenix market, which includes Agency Leasing, Asset Services, Project Management, Capital Markets and Valuation.

In addition, Andi St. John, who was promoted to senior director of Asset Services last year, will assume responsibility for day-to-day executive supervision of the firm’s office, retail and industrial management portfolio in Metro Phoenix.

“Afton has led our Asset Services group in Phoenix since 1999, and understands the power of the CBRE service platform, connecting all the dots to demonstrate to clients not only what CBRE brings to the table, but how it can best support their business objectives,” said Craig Henig, senior managing director and Arizona market leader.

“By understanding and focusing on our clients’ needs, Afton adds a new and creative approach to growing our business. We believe this focus will allow us to better serve our institutional clients across CBRE’s broad platform of services.”

Trail’s extensive experience in third-party real estate management has contributed to CBRE’s number one position as the local leader in property management with the largest portfolio of managed assets in the Phoenix area, exceeding 20 MSF.

Her accomplishments include recognition in AZRE Magazine’s “People to Know” and she was named its “Industry Leader in Property Management” in 2010. Trail holds the professional designation as a Certified Property Manager and  is a member of the IREM, BOMA and NAIOP.

St. John has worked in CBRE’s Asset Services group for more than seventeen years, supervising and directing a team of property managers, who are responsible for the management of more than 13 million square feet of real estate. She and her team produce measurable results by working closely with our clients to create and execute strategies and tactics to maximize service, performance and asset value. Among her achievements, St. John was named CBRE’s Real Estate Manager of the Year in 2003, its Star Performer in 2004 and Team Leader of the Year in 2006.

“The selection of these two best-in-class professionals will help us continue to raise the bar for customer service and enable CBRE to build upon its industry leading position in the Phoenix marketplace,” Henig said.
