Gilbert, Arizona’s Office of Real Estate and Economic Development has hired Jennifer Graves, CEcD, as Business Retention and Expansion Economic Development Administrator. Jennifer brings more than 13 years of economic development experience ranging in market research, strategic planning, and business retention and expansion.

Jennifer earned an MS in Applied Economics from the University of North Texas and a BS in Regional Development from the University of Arizona. In 2009 she also earned her Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) designation. She is a member of the International Economic Development Council and is currently serving as the Secretary/Treasurer on the Executive Committee for the Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) Board of Directors.

As the Business Retention and Expansion Economic Development Administrator, Jennifer will focus on supporting the growth of local businesses. She will execute initiatives and activities to facilitate local business retention and expansion, including real estate selection, completion of job training grant applications as appropriate, conducting market research, providing project management and general economic development assistance.
