The Arizona Builders Alliance has welcomed John Nyman, Tucson President for Concord General Contracting, as a newly elected board member of the ABA’s statewide board at the May 29, 2015 board meeting.

John has 38 years of general contracting experience.  John consistently raises the bar on defining the delivery of excellence as indicated by Concord receiving the 2006 and 2010 Cornerstone Award, General Contractor of the Year. In addition, John received the 2011 Construction Industry’s Good Scout Award presented by the Boy Scouts of America and the 2012 Jerry Wyatt Community Service Award presented by the Cornerstone Building Foundation.

John has been actively involved in the ABA since its formation in 1994 and was a Tucson member of the Associated General Contractors since 1984.  He graduated in 1989 from the AGC’s Advanced Management Program.  He served as Southern Arizona Chairman for the ABA from 2005-2006.
