Phoenix-based commercial contractor makes announcement about its future

With new ownership and a new name, the large commercial builders RJM Construction Phoenix announced it will be doing business as Venn Companies moving forward.

Established in the Valley in 2010, RJM Construction Phoenix had built a  reputation of delivering high quality commercial interiors and building success from the ground up. Venn Companies is the commercial tenant improvements specialist behind some of the Valley’s most impressive spaces, including the Rio Salado Communiversity, Aveda Institute and the Meritage Homes corporate headquarters to name a few. In a press release, Venn Companies states, “The refreshed brand is telling the story of an energetic builder seeking adventure with clients.”

So what changed since the announcement to move forward as Venn Companies?

Boe Bergeson and Nick Veldman are managing partners of Venn, continuing the leadership positions they held at RJM Construction Phoenix. Clients will be working with the same team that has comprised RJM since 2010. Venn is now providing a more focused develop/design/deliver approach to those who build a wide range of spaces in both vertical and horizontal markets.

“The rebranding was a challenging and exciting experience. It really pushed us to look internally at who we are, how we operate and what’s ultimately most important to our clients and their projects,” says Boe Bergeson, managing partner at Venn. “We felt that the Venn name and Venn concept best defined how we approach the dynamic and collaborative requirements of construction, design and development.”

The leadership team has already made investments in updated safety programs, field technology, corporate infrastructure, staff training and more.
