The $167M full-service Sheraton Hotel, built for the City of Tucson's Convention Center, starts construction in November. The 427,000 SF hotel was designed by DLR Group, and will be built by Turner Construction and Sundt Construction with Garfield Traub as the developer. Hotels includes 550 rooms, restaurant and bar, fitness center, spa, roof deck pool, 70,000 SF of conference space and will be attached to the existing Tucson Convention Center. Subs include Kay Lang & Associates, Magnusson Klemenic and Glumac International. Construction completion is estimated for September 2011.
