Six Arizona couples are in the running to possibly win a designer wedding ceremony and reception at Encanterra Country Club worth more than $50,000. The couple who receives the most votes on their “Say Yes” Wedding Sweepstakes proposal video submission, will get to have Encanterra host their wedding and pick up the tab. Voting opens at 12:01 a.m., Friday, March 14 (PDT) and continues until 11:59 p.m., Wednesday, April 2 (PDT).
“Encanterra has become recognized as a premier wedding destination,” said Kirk Kokoska, vice president of golf operations at BlueStar Resort & Golf. “Thanks to our success we’re able to give one couple this once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience our club by exchanging their vows here with a free designer wedding.”
Couples are encouraged to spread the word to their friends and family via email, social media, etc., to generate as many votes as possible. The couple who receives the most votes will win the grand prize package. One vote per day, per valid Facebook account may be submitted. The winning couple will be announced live during The Good Life Festival™ at Encanterra on April 5.
Encanterra Country Club invited couples to submit a video and story of their creative, memorable, romantic and funny marriage proposals through a social media sweepstakes which kicked off in January. The Arizona finalists were selected, along with 10 other couples, from among nearly 200 entries received from across the U.S. and Canada.

“We had the difficult task of narrowing down contest entries to the list of finalists. Now we’re hoping the public will vote to help us choose the winner and reward one couple with an unforgettable wedding day,” Kokoska added.
The “Say Yes!” Wedding Sweepstakes grand prize package will allow the bride and groom to host up to 100 people (bridal party, family and guests) for the ceremony and reception at Encanterra. Included in the grand prize are the rehearsal dinner; ceremony and reception venue; bridal gown, bridesmaid dresses, and tuxedos; on-site wedding coordination; photography and videography; flowers; customized catering; all tables, chairs and linens; a hosted cocktail hour; DJ; and one-of-a-kind wedding cake. In addition, Encanterra will make one of its Taste the Good Life vacation homes available to the couple on the night of their wedding. Total retail value is $51,213.50.
