Citizen Cope @ The Marque

Citizen Cope, Clarence Greenwood, started out as the DJ for hip hop group Basehead, but now records under his own label and is an American songwriter and performer. He released three albums starting in 2004 with his first self-titled album and “Every Waking Moment” debuted at No. 69 on the Billboard 200 chart in 2006. Cope managed his own record label, Rainwater Recordings, to have full control over his creativity and music. Citizen Cope has joined Sheryl Crow on stage to perform his song “Sideways” and performed with Eric Clapton. He has toured for ten years and has headlined nationally. Cope has opened for Carlos Santana and the Dave Matthews Band, and has sung with many other legends. Citizen Cope sings a mix of blues, soul, folk, and rock music that brings out his creativity and originality.

Duke Dumont @ Maya Day and Nightclub

British DJ and music producer, Adam George Dyment, has remixed a number of hits and now records under his own record label, Blasé Boys Club. Duke Dumont released “Need U (100%)” in March 2013 and it was recently nominated for “Best Dance Recording” at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards. In Dumont’s early years, he was mentored by Switch, who helped him make his first remixes. Dumont started to gain recognition when two of his EPs, “For Club Play Only Vol.1” and “Vol.2,” were played on BBC Radio 1 and BBC RADIO 1Xtra. Peformed by Annie Mac, Dumont’s single “I Got U” snatched the No.1 position on the Official UK Singles Chart and was included in his album released in September 2014. Traveling from Britain, Duke Dumont has dominated the UK, but is now here to share his nationally-recognized remixes and original tracks at the Maya Day and Nightclub.

Darlene Love @ The Showroom at Talking Stick Resort

As a minister’s daughter, Darlene Love started her career early by singing in the church choir at ten years old and being recognized by the choir director of Music Mart. Love had her first musical experience at Music Mart, where she did some broadcast and performed. She was introduced into the music industry as a back-up vocalist singing back-up for some of the biggest hits of the 1960s, such as Shelley Fabares “Johnny Angel,” Bobby Pickett’s “Monster Mash,” and Frank Sinatra’s rendition of “That’s Life.” Love sang lead for the first time on a single called “He’s a Rebel” and it soared to No.1 on the U.S Hot 100. Darlene Love has gained the respect of the industry and recorded many hits as a back-up vocalist and lead vocalist. Love was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in March 2011 and continues to surprise America.
