Jeff Montalvo began his musical career as a metal and punk-inclined drummer and then he decided to go out on his own. He wanted to revamp the dance music industry as a producer. His sound is a hybridized creation of trance and deep bass music. His remix of Above & Beyond’s “You Got To Go” served as his breakout introduction to the dance music world. Over the course of his brief career thus far, the top EDM publications and artists have already recognized this sound. This year, Seven Lions was selected as the main support for Porter Robinson’s sold-out Circle Assembly tour, made appearances at world-renowned festivals, such as Ultra Music Festival and Electric Daisy Carnival New York, as well as headlined the Avalon Hollywood, Webster Hall New York City, and other top-tier venues in cities far and wide. DJ DECIPHA @ RELEASE POOL PARTY
Born and raised in the Valley, DJ DECiPHA got his start at the young age of 14 when he first heard Funkmaster Flex’s “Vol. 1: 60 Minutes of Funk.” DECiPHA’s first passion was music production and he use to work on music production for different local hip-hop & R&B artist through out Arizona. DECiPHA began take DJing from a hobby to a priority. DECiPHA created his own sound that would eventually lead him to Phoenix’s number one radio station as well as headlining spots in the nightclub scene. DECiPHA can be heard daily on the 5 o’clock Mix as well as weekend and specialty shows including Friday and Saturday Night Jam Session and “The House Party” on Phoenix’s KZON LIVE 101.5 PHOENIX. OVERWERK & CORPORATE SLAKRS @ MONARCH THEATRE
Relentless Beats presents OVERWERK with special guests Corporate Slackrs on Saturday in downtown Phoenix. OVERWERK, Edmond Huszar, is a Canadian producer and songwriter that broke onto the scene in late 2011 with the release of his debut EP, “The Nth Degree.” OVERWERK’s unique sound blends the heavy complexities of electro with the orchestral feel of a cinematic score. He sets himself apart from the electro community with his distinct quality and technicality of his music. AJ Ironman, Sean Reilly, and Devin Meadow began to create the project known as Corporate Slackrs in mid-2012. AJ is the groups DJ and Devin and Sean are the producers. Corporate Slackrs creates music of many genres and meshes them together into something they tag as ‘good music.’ Their first release was a remix to Steve Aoki’s “Warp”, which quickly gained support of industry heavyweights like Bingo Players, Laidback Luke, and Steve Aoki himself. They later released two more trap remixes, a progressive house original, and several mashups stacking their Soundcloud roster by December 2012. Saturdays show is one you will not want to miss with OVERWERK’s epic sound and Corporate Slackrs’ ‘good music.’
