Tech N9ne @ The Marquee Theatre

After being in multiple musical groups, Aaron Dontez Yates, Tech N9ne, found his own path as a rapper by finding his own record label Strange Music. The release of his seventh album, “Killer,” put him over his goal of selling over one million album sales in 2008. His powerful rhyme schemes and Chopper-style rapping has lead him to many collaborations with rap icons, such as T-Pain, Kendrick Lamar, Wiz Khalifa, and Lil Wayne- just to name a few. Tech N9ne’s album “Something Else,” released in 2013, was a three-part album that takes his fans through the elements Fire, Water, and Earth. 11 of the tracks on his three-part album made it on the Billboard’s Rap Album Charts and accumulated $20 million in revenue. Tech N9ne’s unique style and variety of songs has made him a rap icon.
