KC and the Sunshine Band @ The Salt River Ballroom at the Talking Stick Resort

Formed in the 1970s, KC and the Sunshine Band’s music has survived the test of time as their music is still played around the world. Harry Wayne Casey (KC) started the band by being backed up by studio musicians form TK records and a local band in Florida. Their second self-titled album debuted in 1975 and went triple platinum with “Get Down Tonight” and “That’s the Way (I Like It)” topping the charts and appearing at No. 1. KC and the Sunshine Band’s electric funk, R&B, and disco music gained a large following and their popularity flourished into the 1990s in the revival of disco music. KC and the Sunshine Band released “I’ll Be There For You” in 2001, after a 10-year break. With 13 albums released over 40 years, KC and the Sunshine Band’s music has been featured in 200 motion picture film soundtracks and heard at every major sporting event around the world. Say Anything/Saves the Day @ The Marquee

Say Anything is an American rock band from Los Angeles, that was formed in 2000 by the direction of Max Bemis recruiting four of his close friends. They caught the attention of Doghouse Records after they self-released two EPs, “Junior Varsity” and “In Your Dreams”, and their first album “Baseball: An Album by Say Anything.” “…Is A Real Boy” was their only album released under Dog House Records, but received positive reviews from the music industry. They signed with J Records and completed their first headlining tour in 2006, with Piebald and mewithoutYou. Say Anything introduced “Hebrews,” released on January, 10, 2014, that was the first album self-produced by Bemis and lead to a headlining tour with Saves the Day. Tegan and Sara @ The Marquee

Identical twins, Teagan and Sara Quin, are a mainstream duo who are mostly recognized for their song “Closer” released in 2012. Teagan and Sara are singers, songwriters, and can play the guitar and keyboard. They started in the halls of their high school recording two demo albums and got the chance to record a professional demo after winning a local competition. The duo signed to Neil Young’s Vapor label and recorded numerous albums in their Canadian indie genre. Tegan and Sara have been touring with Katy Perry on her Prismatic World Tour, but are heading to Arizona this Monday for an intimate performance at The Marquee.
