From freshly baked bread to delectable scones, muffins and cinnamon rolls, Rise Up Bakery opened their doors to the public in December, providing a cozy, neighborhood bakery to the Gilbert community.

Husband and wife, Jay and Danielle Lunt owned a successful bakery in Las Vegas for nearly 10 years, which they sold after deciding to move to Arizona to be closer to family. However, after living in the Valley for 11 years, the Lunts decided they “kneaded” to return to what they loved most – baking.

“We missed being in the bakery everyday and seeing the faces of our customers enjoying what we baked,” said Jay. “We pride ourselves on offering the best classic treats, and hope that we can offer something new to the amazing Gilbert community. Our goal is to create something both beautiful and delicious using simple ingredients.”

Located at Gilbert Tuscany Village, Rise Up Bakery’s specialty is bread, made from scratch every day with all natural ingredients. Prepared with no added oils, eggs or preservatives, Rise Up Bakery’s bread is satisfying and healthy. The bakery will also serve cookies, brownies, bars, muffins, scones, cinnamon rolls and housemade granola. Make your mouth happy and go into Rise Up Bakery today to sample some amazing baked goods.

The 2,300 square-foot bakery is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is closed Sunday.
