Sundt Construction, Inc. announced today that Sundt General Counsel Randy Nye and Corporate Director of Administration Richard Condit retired effective Sept. 30, 2014. Both Nye and Condit’s decisions to retire culminates two remarkable careers that span over 30 years of combined service to the company and its stakeholders, including clients and employee-owners.

Condit joined Sundt in 1993 as the company’s first training director and quickly rose to executive management, becoming chief administrative officer in 1995, and transitioning his successor, Daniel Haag, into the role in 2014. Condit played a significant role in the development and succession of Sundt leadership, which prepared the organization for success over the past 20 years. Condit has been very active in education advocacy work within the state of Arizona, and will continue that effort going forward.

Nye spent 10 years managing Sundt’s legal department, overseeing all corporate legal matters, advising management and assisting Sundt team members, including consultants, subcontractors and suppliers with legal counsel. He was instrumental in the formation, development, and Sundt’s participation as a founding member of the Construction Industry Ethics and Compliance Initiative, a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of ethics and compliance in the construction industry.

“Randy and Richard have been tremendous assets to Sundt and both leave behind significant marks as strong, ethical leaders who helped the company grow into what it is today,” said Sundt President and Chief Executive Officer Dave Crawford. “I believe I speak for everyone here at Sundt when I say, ‘thank you both for your hard work and dedication to the company, team members and the entire Sundt family.’”
