Salt River Project’s nearly 1 million residential power customers and 25,000 irrigation customers now have even more ways to stay connected with two, new SRP Mobile Apps for smart phones and tablets.

SRP launched two mobile apps for on the App Store for iOS users or the Google Play store for Android users.

The SRP Power app lets users view their daily cost and usage, payments and report and view information on outages in the area.

With the power app, users can see their energy costs and usage by the hour, day or month. There are also features to let customers who are on Time-of-Day Price plans see how much energy they’re using during on-peak and off-peak hours.

Customers who like to pay everything online or with their phone will be able to use the power app to see their balance, make payments or even schedule future payments within the app. And if an outage occurs, customers will be able to check the app to get estimates and other details as to when the power will be back on through an interactive map.

The SRP Water app was built with its irrigation customers in mind. Through the app, folks will be able to see water delivery schedules and deadlines for water irrigation, as well as view or modify their water orders.

“More and more customers are expressing their preference to manage their accounts with their mobile devices,” said Michael Mendonca, SRP senior director of customer service. “Improving the customer experience is critically important to us. This new mobile app offers an opportunity to do just that.”
