Through the Grapevine Photography Exhibit Opens at LDV Wine Gallery in Scottsdale
Local Photographer Featured September 12- November
Local photographer Jenelle Bonifield’s images of Arizona vineyard grapes in the first morning light will be featured in her upcoming exhibit entitled “Through the Grapevine.” The opening night reception for this dynamic photography exhibit will take place Saturday, September 12th, from 5:00 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the LDV Wine Gallery located at 6951 E 1st Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. The reception includes wine by the glass specials, live music and light hors d’ oeuvres. RSVPs are accepted by calling: 480-664-4822. This exhibit will be showcased at LDV Wine Gallery through November.
Bonifield, owner of Food & Lifestyles Photography in Phoenix, chose to photograph LDV Winery in Southeastern Arizona because of its pristine skies, gorgeous lighting, and beautiful grapevines.
“The sheer variety of colors in Jenelle’s photographs of our grapes, from deep reds to brilliant blues and yellows, create color combinations that seem unreal and capture the essence of our special place,” said LDV Winery Co-Owner Peggy Fiandaca.
Bonifield often makes the three and a half hour road trip from Phoenix to LDV Winery, which is nestled in the Chiricahua Mountain foothills. “You will find me poking my camera into the vines illuminated with sunlight, to find the right combination of grape clusters and light from predawn until after sunset,” said Bonifield.
Bonifield is continuing to work on a series of images of the vineyard from all the seasons for publication.
