Zillow.com, the leading national real estate marketplace, has selected a top Valley interior designer as a finalist for its annual Zillow ‘Digs Design’ Awards. Argentinian-born and ASID award winning designer Ernesto Garcia has propelled to the national stage this year earning a number of honors for his Scottsdale and Paradise Valley luxury home interior designs. Garcia’s winning design is an opulent bathroom and dressing room space part of an inspired French Chateau home in the exclusive North Scottsdale enclave of Silverleaf. Soft with feminine details and lots of whimsy, the Zillow selected design with ornate Rococo chandeliers, regal gold and lilac color palatte and ornate Italian mosaic tile floors and walls.

The Zillow ‘Digs Design’ awards launched in August, comparing top interior designs across the country. Designers are evaluated for the chance to be named the top designer in one of these categories: kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom or deck. Consumers explored the submissions, digging their favorite images to their own Zillow Digs boards. Images with the most digs at the end of the month advanced to the regional competitions. Garcia;s indulgent bathroom designs have resonated with consumers across the country, propelling him to the regional competition. In the regional competition, winning designs from each category advance to the national vote for Zillow Digs’ first design awards for best kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom and deck designs.
