Pinetop-Lakeside

  • Where To Eat

Because of its close proximity to the world’s largest stand of ponderosa pine and its many lakes, the name Pinetop-Lakeside deems appropriate for this town surrounded by the White Mountains. The town was founded in the 1880s, but it wasn’t until 1984 that the two communities combined into one. Visitors frequent the area for its location in the mountains and Apache/Sitgreaves National Forest, where they hike, bike, horseback ride, fish, ski, snowboard and hunt — among many other activities, including golf at one of the many courses.
