Eileen Klein, president of the Arizona Board of Regents, will be the featured speaker at the Arizona Association for Economic Development’s (AAED) February luncheon. It will be held Tuesday, Feb. 4 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Arizona Country Club, 5668 E. Orange Blossom Lane, in Phoenix.
Klein will discuss the future of Arizona’s universities and their impact on the state’s economic development activities.

AAED was originally founded in 1974 as the Arizona Association for Industrial Development (AAID). The organization, which was dedicated to expanding the industrial and economic base of Arizona, changed to its current name in 1991 to better reflect its broader mission.
