Chef Brian Malarkey, Photo: SearsuckerAvid Bravo programming viewers, here’s a name and face you may recognize — culinary celeb and “Top Chef” finalist, Brian Malarkey. But what you may not know is that Malarkey has not only expanded his famous San Diego Searsucker restaurant to Scottsdale, but the Searsucker team is also holding an all-call for staff — 100 positions to be exact.

Come by Searsucker, voted the No. 2 “Hottest Restaurant in the Country” in 2011 by OpenTable, on Saturday, September 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for your chance to interview for one of the many positions available, including:

  • Servers
  • Bartenders
  • Host staff
  • Front of house support staff
  • Kitchen staff
  • Managers

Searsucker will open in late October at Camelback Tower. In just under two years from Enlightened Hospitality Group, the San Diego-based hospitality-development company founded by Chef Brian Malarkey and Managing Partner and experienced hospitality innovator James Brennan, this will be the sixth restaurant to open. The restaurant will feature a warm, classic, 9,500-square-foot environment. As for the sustainable and house-made menu, it will showcase a “re-imagined twist on classic New American dishes,” according to its website. Dishes will be divvied into categories, including “Bites,” “Smalls,” “Greens,” “Ocean,” “Ranch” and “Farm”; and the menu will feature an array of unique cuisine, such as Rosemary Lemon Butter Popcorn.
