As the season begins to change, the holidays seem to be on everybody’s mind, and what better way to get into the Christmas Spirit than helping Santa at his workshop?

Arizona’s North Pole Experience will be premiering its new portal location in Flagstaff, Ariz. Originally located in Greer, the North Pole Experience (NPX) is a chance to work side by side with Santa and his elves creating toys. This year, visitors will get to see a brand new part of Santa’s workshop that will be introduced personally by Santa himself.

Visitors arrive at the Little America Hotel where they will board the magic trolley. The trolleys are driven by Santa’s elves who sing Christmas carols with the people on board and then tell them what the magic words are to activate the portal to the North Pole. Once they’ve crossed through to the North Pole, families move through the toy hall of fame, where they are taken through old toys to the toys of today. Head elf Alabaster greets the visitors and then children are given the chance to work side by side with the elves creating teddy bears. The toys that are created by visitors to the workshop are given to children in need this holiday season.

The next step is for families to listen in at Elf University and find out what it takes to be an elf. Children learn right from wrong and what they need to do to be a successful elf. At the end of the day, children get to meet Santa and get a tour of a never-before-seen part of his workshop. Santa will sign autographs and children can tell him what they want for Christmas.

Tickets for adults are $55 per person while children 18 months and up are $49 per person. For visitors who would like to stay in the Little America Hotel, room prices start at $99 or guests can partake in the all-inclusive North Pole Experience Package, which includes a one-night stay at the Little America Hotel, dinner at the NPX buffet and the famous NPX breakfast with Santa. The package starts at $455 for a family of four.

The North Pole Experience begins on Nov. 16th and will be open on Christmas Eve and Dec. 27. NPX is the only interactive Christmas experience in the United States. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit northpoleexperience.com.
