Tickets for the 2013 Pepsi Amphitheater Season are set to go on sale Fri., March 22, at 10 a.m.

May 4: Flagstaff Fiesta Tequila & Tacos Festival featuring Reggae star Maxi Priest

Last season Flagstaff Fiesta’s “Tequila & Tacos” debuted celebrating Cinco De Mayo. This year, the fiesta welcomes musical guest Maxi Priest to headline the event. Maxi Priest is a British reggae vocalist of Jamaican descent and is best known for reggae fusion, a mixture of reggae music with an R&B influence. His hit songs in America include: “Close to You,” “Set the Night to Music,” “Wild World” and “That Girl.”

May 12: The Beach Boys & Mother’s Day Brunch – Benefiting the Flagstaff Medical Group

The amazing yet true saga of The Beach Boys is well chronicled and, by any standard, it’s one of the greatest and most musical stories ever told. Now this singular West Coast story continues with a global celebration that is befitting of the remarkable and enduring legacy of these Rock and Roll Hall of Famers as they celebrate their 50th year.

June 7: REO Speedwagon

Formed in 1967, signed in 1971 and fronted by iconic vocalist Kevin Cronin since 1972, REO Speedwagon has rocked to the top of the charts with a RIAA-certified 22 million albums sold in the U.S., 40 million around the globe, and a string of gold and platinum records. REO Speedwagon’s hits include: “Keep on Loving You,” “Can’t Fight This Feeling,” ‘Take it On the Run” and more.

June 8: 4th Annual Flagstaff Wine & Food Festival presented by Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort

Food and WineThe 4th Annual Flagstaff Wine & Food Festival offers the unique opportunity to sample exquisite international and domestic wines, as well as award-winning Arizona vintners, savor signature culinary creations from renowned Northern Arizona restaurants and delight at cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs amidst the ponderosa pine forest of Coconino County. In addition to gourmet tastings, the festival features an exciting auction of food and travel packages, wines, and local crafts. The Festival is the signature annual event produced by Friends of Coconino County Parks Inc. July 4: Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra, Jon Eder, conductor – “Red, White & Blue” Holiday Pops (on sale soon)

Bring the kids. Bring a blanket. Relax under the Ponderosa pines to a holiday concert of western tunes to celebrate this summer holiday. With the generous underwriting of the Coconino County Board of Supervisors the annual Independence Day symphony concert will feature the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra conducted by Jon Eder in an afternoon of music for the whole community. Joining the FSO this year are ensemble performances by the Curry Summer Music Camp.

July 14: Widespread Panic

Widespread Panic is known as a national touring force and continues to hold attendance records at major venues across the country. They are a mainstay at many major U.S. festivals, having headlined 10 nights on the main stage at Bonnaroo. For over ten years Widespread Panic has been dedicated to making their concerts food drive events. Since summer 2008, the charity Feeding People Through Music has raised over $50,000 in monetary donations and over 6,000 pounds of food.

Aug. 2: Sinbad benefiting the Shadows Foundation

Sinbad, is an American stand-up comedian and actor. He became well known in the 1990s from his HBO specials, appearing on several television series, and starring in the films “Necessary Roughness,” “Houseguest,” “First Kid,” “Jingle All the Way” and “Good Burger.”

FestivalAug. 3: Flagstaff BBQ & Brews Blues Festival

This festival hosts five of the greatest blues and rock bands in one show including Ten Years After, Edgar Winter, Pat Traverse, Rick Derringer and Canned Heat.

Sept. 13-15: 8th Annual Pickin’ in the Pines Music Festival (on sale soon)

The three-day bluegrass and acoustic music festival returns to the beautiful pines of Flagstaff. The lineup, the setting, the amenities and the people make it one of the ‘best of the west.’
