Hair Wars is a nationally recognized salon competition where top local salons in each region have the opportunity to showcase their artistic side by featuring one-of-a-kind, extravagant, creations down the runway. The Supreme Salon Tour travels through Scottsdale, Los Angeles, Chicago, Vancouver and Calgary, Canada. The top three salons in each city move on to the World Finals in an international competition.

“Our goal is to find the best salons, stylists, makeup artists, models, accessories, costuming, fashion lines, and designers in the industry to compete in the ultimate runway competition,” says Benjamin Moline, Executive Producer. “This competition is like none other and it really lets artists use their creativity to create something spectacular, from bird cages built from hair with real birds to pirate ships; this event brings out the shock factor. It is truly the Super Bowl of hair, and the tour continues to peak interest of producers in Los Angeles.”

Local salons will bring their creative talents to the catwalk to compete for the title of “Supreme Salon” hosted by celebrity finalist, Ben Mollin, as seen on the BRAVO television show “Shear Genius.” Arizona’s top five salons will compete featuring their own theme, routine, and distinctive hairstyles that best represent their artistic abilities. Competing salons include Hair Pollution Salon, Luis A. Solis Hair Design, Miguel’s Beauty Salon featuring Juan Santos, Color Me Pretty, and Luxxi Salon.

The judges include: Angela Avorio, director of education for Ben Mollin Hair Education; Eric Rene Jimenez, renowned hair and makeup artist featured on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Life & Style Magazine; and AK Mack, director of education at the Toni & Guy Scottsdale Academy.

The event will begin with a pre-game show presented by the Toni & Guy Scottsdale Academy themed in black and white.
