Justin Coopersmith, Waterfront Fine Art & Wine FestivalThunderbird Artists’ Waterfront Fine Art & Wine Festival, taking place February 15-17, 2013 at the Scottsdale Waterfront, will feature Justin Coopersmith, known for creating one-of-a-kind pieces using a unique combination of textures, hues and shapes.

The Waterfront Fine Art & Wine Festival will showcase a juried selection of renowned artists, such as Coopersmith; one of the largest wine tasting event in the Southwest with fine wine from participating wineries from around the world; and live music, including guitarist Scott Helmer.

With more than 200 paintings published in print as an artist, Coopersmith has kept busy creating custom painting commissions and projects, traveling around the country exhibiting at juried fine art shows. Coopersmith’s true passion is creating abstract expressionistic paintings as well as landscapes, still lifes and figurative motifs.

In addition to browsing paintings, bronzes, glass, stone, copper, lay sculptures, photography and jewelry at the Waterfront Fine Justin Coopersmith, Waterfront Fine Art & Wine FestivalArt & Wine Festival, attendees have the chance to take part in a wine tasting. For $10, patrons will receive an engraved souvenir wine glass and six tasting tickets, providing a unique opportunity to sample an extensive collection of domestic and imported wines ― the finest wines in the nation, as determined by Thunderbird Artists and top wine experts. Additional tasting tickets can be purchased for $1.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, the festival will take place on the pedestrian walkway of the Scottsdale Waterfront and Southbridge, next to Nordstrom’s and Olive & Ivy. Admission is $3, and parking is free.
